...and again, Gopher = saturn 6 and now changed again sold to Pattern Digital, I wonder if the 'new owners' are genuine or just another reincarnation... and if they have actually brought the company maybe someone should warn them!

Hello Simon, thanks for giving me the opportunity to respond here as the owner of Pattern Digital.

For the record we're in the process of purchasing the business of Saturn 6, which includes the ongoing support of the company's customer base. We have also retained a number of the staff that worked at Saturn 6, however the original management team has all moved on.

Pattern is an existing software and web development firm that works for a range of medium sized enterprise customers and agencies including Coastguard New Zealand, Y&R, Colenso BBDO, Simtics, Hutchwilco etc. We've been in business since 2012, and recently formed Pattern Digital to specifically assist smaller customers take advantage of digital tools and technologies in order to grow their business.

We have done extensive due diligence on Saturn 6 (including monitoring social channels like this one), so have a pretty good understanding of what we've purchased and what customers are looking for in an agency partner.

Personally, I have spent my entire career working in the technology sector, much of that spent helping larger business customers establish digital strategies at a time of huge technological change. The team we've brought in from Pattern has worked on many award winning projects and campaigns over the years, and we're all completely committed to this industry and to the success of our clients. We are most definitely "genuine".

I believe in the power of New Zealand's small business community because I'm part of it. We will absolutely be looking after the customers transferring across to us and have invested heavily in the technology platforms required to deliver results.

I hope that addresses any concerns you may have, but if anyone wants to message me directly, my email is rowan "at" pattern.co.nz.

Kind regards,
Rowan Schaaf - CEO
Pattern Digital Limited

Sorry Rowan, nice effort but if you did your 'due diligence' then only one of two scenarios are true, either you're you not intelligent enough to realise that the foundation of company you 'purchased' is based on ripping customers off and therefore have no business being a CEO or you knew about it and wanted your cut of the action picking up customer contracts for pennies.

It's all a simple reshuffle, restructure & a game of pass the client contracts (and revenue) while avoiding creditors by liquidation every few months.

Here are some more facts...

Gopher / Saturn 6 ignored legal cancellation of contracts (in accordance with their own terms and conditions) from multiple customers even though they were received by BJ Sveistrup.

Customers were told by Richard Gilbert (who worked at Gopher, then Saturn 6 then Pattern Digital) that they must pay a 60% cancellation fee (a magical number made up to squeeze any remaining revenue from the customer)

Saturn 6 then continued to charge their credit cards outside cancellation of contract and without authorisation (which is fraud)

Rob Snow, Richard Gilbert, BJ Sveistrup, Edward Wright & the new "genuine" purchaser Rowan Schaaf & CEO Pattern Digital Limited where all aware of the cancellations, unauthorised credit card charges and requests for refunds, but, surprise surprise no communication with customers that are left thousands of dollars out of pocket.

From what I gather there is light at the end of the tunnel, for any customers ripped off by gopher, saturn 6 and now pattern digital, contact the SFO (Serious Fraud Office) as i believe they are gathering info and i sure would be interested in hearing from you!

Good Luck!

@swayne67 if you're a real customer please provide evidence here and I'll help you out. I'm not willing to continue this conversation anonymously. I've given you my name and contact details in a public forum, if you're genuine please get in touch.

Kind regards,
Rowan.

Hi peeps. I can add some information to this. Mr Edward Mckee Wright is/was director of several companies in the Working Capital Solutions stable. Working Capital Solutions Ltd (in liquidation), Working Capital Solutions Holdings Ltd, Working Capital Solutions NZ Ltd (in liquidation and receivership), and a Director of Capital & Merchant Business Finance Ltd (struck off). Mr Mckee Wright's receiver/liquidator of choice is C&C Strategic who's sole director is John Gilbert, jailed for three years in the 90's for fraud. Frankly given what I know I would not touch anything related to any of these entities.
