At about 11.20am on Friday 29th November I collected a small bundle of mail from our postbox. Three letters bound together with a rubber band.

The top one was addressed to me. Curiously a neighbour's house number was handwritten & circled below the postmark.

The other two letters were not for me. They were clearly addressed to other properties on the same side of our street, one about 50m and the other 150metres away.

I delivered both letters.

My confidence in DX mail as a service provider is considerably undermined. The organisation my wife works for uses DXMail routinely & is particularly concerned.

The timely delivery of mail cannot rely on the presence, goodwill & responsibility of householders.
